Bizim gönderdiğimiz örnekler ile buradaki vericilerin saç dokuları karşılaştırılıyor ve uygun yapıda olanlardan kesilerek alınan saçlarla, protez saç yapılıyor. Birkaç milimetrelik ince bir zar üzerine işlenen saç tellerinin ağırlığı yaklaşık 50 grama ulaşıyor. Hava ve su geçirme özelliği bulunan bu zar tabaka zamanla deriyle kaynaşıyor ve gerçeğinden ayırt edilemiyor. İstendiğinde de çıkarılabiliyor.”

Protez saç telinin yaklaşık 80 kiloluk bir güce karşı koyabileceğini ve kopmayacağını belirten Güven, böyle bir saça sahip olanların rahatlıkla denize girebileceğini, duş alabileceğini ve saçını istediği yöne tarayabileceğini kaydetti.

Güven, protez saçın fiyatının kapladığı alana göre hesaplandığına işaret ederek, ”İnsanın sadece başının üst kısmında 150-200 bin doğalsaç teli bulunur. Protez saçta ise 1 santimetrekareye ortalama 4 saç teli monte ediliyor. Her saç teli ortalama 7.5 dolara mal olur. Başın saç olmayan kısmının büyüklüğüne göre toplam fiyat değişiyor. Ücreti de 4 taksit halinde alıyoruz” dedi.

Döviz kurundaki düşünün protez saça olan ilgiyi artırdığını belirten Güven, ”Kayseri’de yaklaşık 7 aydır hizmet sunuyoruz. Ancak,döviz kurundaki düşüş son aylarda protez saça olan talebi artırdı. Bugüne dek yüzün üzerinde kişiye protez saç uyguladık. Bunlar arasında estetik kaygılarla bize başvuranlar yanında herhangi bir hastalık sonucu saçı dökülen kişiler de var. Özellikle kemoterapi sonucu saçı dökülen 12-15 yaş gurubundaki çocuklara da protez saç uyguluyoruz” diye konuştu.
